Adventure Programs
School and youth groups
Venture's High Ropes Course, the Adventure Tower and rockclimbing and abseiling programs all offer great fun learning experiences for school groups, scouts and other youth groups. The instructors and courses themselves encourage the use of initiative and creativity to solve problems, team building and increased responsibility, development of individual leadership qualities, as well as the physical challenges!
Social and other groups
Sporting clubs, social groups and even groups of friends can spend a session or two expanding their own horizons in the safe hands of experienced but down to earth instructors. Full or half day rock climbing courses at Morialta Conservation Park or Onkaparinga Gorge may be what you're after. Or maybe you want to learn to safely top-rope and lead climb at Australia's premier crag – Mount Arapiles. Venture's SAREA qualified rockcliming instructors can accommodate your group of four or more people.
Perhaps an aerial obstacle course is more to your taste – the chance to stretch yourself physically and mentally while working in small teams to navigate the High Ropes course. The results – very good fun, confidence building, team building, use of physical skills: balance flexibility and coordination.
The Adventure Tower and other outdoor activities (e.g., the Challenge Hill Commando Course, canoeing, mountain bike rogaining and bushwalk orienteering) can be arranged for corporate and other groups. Contact Venture for details.
