Course Details
Location: Morialta Conservation Park or Onkaparinga Gorge
Meet: Tower Hotel car park or Victoria Hotel car park
Times: Full Day: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Half Day: 4 hours (times of your choice)
Investment: POA per participant full day
POA per participant half day (to be paid in full before the day)
What to bring: Food and drinks. Appropriate loose fitting and comfortable clothing for the weather.

Mount Arapiles climbing weekend
Mt Arapiles, Australia's premier climbing area, is ideally suited to learning both top rope & lead climbing techniques.
Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn how to set up top rope climbs or are ready for the challenge of multi-pitch climbing, we can tailor the program to meet your needs.
Camping at Mt Arapiles is comfortable with toilets and drinking water available. The climbing starts only metres from the camp ground requiring a minimum amount of time getting to and from the cliff each day.

Participants need to supply their own:

Course content
Thursday 6.30 pm - 9.00pm ACME Climbing Wall, Adelaide
Friday 5.30 pm Depart for Mt Arapiles (from Rundle Street)
Sunday 9.00 pm return to Adelaide
The Thursday evening session will include an introduction to equipment, belaying methods for leading and technique instruction to improve your climbing.
During Saturday & Sunday participants will learn how to set up anchors for top rope climbing. You will also have the opportunity to climb a multi-pitch route while learning about placing protection during lead climbing.
